Bastyr Career Services is a resource for students and alumni that provides coaching, resources, workshops and other events for professional and career development. The office provides a holistic, inclusive and developmental approach and works with students and alumni at any point within their career development journeys.

Bastyr Careers

Bastyr Careers is Bastyr's job board and career services management system. Here students can find job opportunities, as well as practices for sale and treatment rooms for rent. They can connect with Bastyr’s network of employers, share their resumes for recruitment, and find resources for job search, networking, and career development. All students and graduates from 2019 and beyond have accounts with their Bastyr email address. Other alumni who do not yet have an account, can register for a student/alumni account.

Organizations that wish to hire exceptional natural health and wellness experts from Bastyr’s degree programs can register for an employer account on Bastyr Careers and post opportunities directly to Bastyr students and alumni. Employers with accounts on Bastyr Careers also have access to Resume Books to directly connect with candidates of interest.

If you’d like to further discuss your hiring needs and interests and recruiting at Bastyr, please contact careers@bastyr.edu.

Career Coaching Appointments

Students across campuses and majors, as well as alumni, can sign up for one-on-one appointments. Students are welcome to discuss their career goals as well as work on career development skills such as resumes, cover letters, interviewing and networking skills and practice, LinkedIn, job search strategies and more. Appointments are available in-person and via phone or video. Sign up for an appointment here.

Resources

Students can access on-demand resources like sample resumes and cover letters, recorded webinars, and more on the Career Services site on myBU.

Events

Career Services delivers workshops, webinars, seminars with featured speakers, and networking events. Topics range from career development skills (like resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and job search strategies) to business/practice management skills to insights into career pathways and beyond. These events are advertised through student emails and on myBU, as well as through Beyond Bastyr, the bi-monthly alumni e-newsletter.
