Teaching/ Research Interests

Teaching Interests: Biochemistry, Regulatory Metabolism, Integrated Nutrition and Health, Learning Theory, Educational Philosophy

Research Interests: Regulation of metabolism, impact of holistic therapy on disease treatment, development of integrated health pactice methods, biochemical impact of gene inheritance and expressions.

Teaching/ Healing Philosophy

My role as an educator is to be a facilitator of each student's larning. I aim to create a classroom environment with freedom for questions, discussion, creative thought and all styles of learning. Students are asked to take the lead in understanding how they learn best and to be productive in addressing issues and concerns. The more that students and instructors work as a team in this process the more we both will find success.

Macronutrient Metabolism, Micronutrient Metabolism, Biochemistry for all Integrated basic Science Modules, Biochemistry for undergraduates, Sports Nutrition

Clinical Interests

Treatment of nutritional conditions with combined eastern and western approaches; utilization of nutritional treatment in holistic.
