Prerequisites
Applicants may apply with up to three prerequisites in-progress or outstanding, and should consult with an admissions advisor for a transcript evaluation to determine the best application deadline. Call (425-602-3332) or email (admissions@bastyr.edu) to schedule your appointment.
Application Deadlines
Bastyr University accepts applications on a rolling basis, which means if you miss a priority deadline, you're still able to apply. Applications received after the dates below will be considered for admission on a space-available basis.

Early and Priority Application Deadlines
September 1: Application for all programs open for the following Academic Year
November 1: Early Application Deadline for all programs
- Applicants who submit before the deadline will receive their admission decision before January 1 and their Honors Entrance scholarship award notification (if eligible) by February 1.
- Applications submitted before the Early Decision deadline are not binding
January 10: Priority Application Deadline for summer start programs:
Deadline for applicants to summer start programs to be eligible for the Honors at Entrance Scholarship.
February 1: Priority Application Deadline for fall start programs:
Deadline for applicants to fall start programs to be eligible for the Honors at Entrance Scholarship.
March 24: Priority Application Deadline for spring start programs:
April 2: Priority Application Deadline for internal Post-Baccalaureate students.
This deadline is for current post-baccalaureate students to apply to the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine or Master of Science in Nutrition programs.
Bastyr Online Learning Division Recommended Deadlines
- December 9: Recommended Deadline for the January 9, 2023 start date
- April 24: Recommended Deadline for the May 8, 2023 start date
- August 22: Recommended Deadline for the September 5, 2023 start date
Dietetic Internship
Applications for the program must be postmarked by the February deadline set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
