The Pre-Med track is the best choice if you plan to pursue a graduate education in any area of biomedical studies including naturopathic medicine, conventional medicine, nutrition, acupuncture and East Asian medicine, nursing or physical therapy.
The Pre-med track in the Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology program prepares students to pursue graduate studies in biomedical fields, including naturopathic and conventional medicine, nursing, nutrition, acupuncture and East Asian medicine, and physical or occupational therapy.
This track, with a dual emphasis on basic biological sciences and psychology, provides a health psychology education within the framework of medical science. If you are seeking a pre-med degree, this is the track for you. With a few additional courses, you are also eligible to take a summer massage intensive training program.
Students may apply to the program while completing prerequisite coursework. Exceptional applicants who do not meet this minimum requirement will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
