The post-baccalaureate in nutrition program allows students with non-science backgrounds or students missing a significant number of classes to complete the necessary prerequisites for the Master of Science in Nutrition program. Students are allowed to take only the courses they need through the post-bacc program and are not required to complete the full year-long program if they have completed some of the courses previously.
Students interested in applying to the post-bacc nutrition program should apply online by selecting the Master of Science in Nutrition Post-Baccalaureate from the graduate degree menu in the online application.

Admissions into the post-bacc program does not guarantee admissions into the master's program.

NOTE: Admission to any of the master of science in nutrition programs is a separate process and will take place during your year in the post-bacc program. Enrolled post-bacc students will follow the standard master of science in nutrition process, with the exception of the submission of official transcripts. A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or a GAP of 2.75 or above and:
* Students can take General Chemistry I and II during the summer at Bastyr University prior to the post-bacc year. The prerequisite to this series is Introduction to Chemistry
Students must maintain a B average to remain in good standing in the program. However, the MSN/DPD program is more competitive and students will need to achieve a higher prerequisite GPA.
