Bastyr University's midwifery program is designed to educate and inspire leaders in midwifery and maternal health systems. The program was launched in 2009 as a result of the merger with Seattle Midwifery School, which had been a leader in educating childbirth professionals for more than 30 years. Today, having grown to now offer two master's degree programs, we are proud to see our graduates in leadership roles throughout the U.S. and Canada.
